New Focus Weight Loss Program
We're excited to join you for the journey toward a healthier you. Our goal goes beyond helping you to lose weight. We'll provide encouragement and support throughout our time together.
Our focus is on a variety of lifestyle factors, all of which contribute to your health and wellbeing. Nutrition, exercise, weight management, finding balance, overcoming barriers, commitment to lifestyle changes, uncovering new strategies and supporting your goals are our core values. We'll work together to build a foundation of confidence in your ability to make the changes you want.
What is New Focus?
The New Focus program is an intensive behavioral therapy program for individuals to receive ongoing support for weight loss. It's a long-term program that typically lasts 6-12 months.
You'll receive one-on-one counseling sessions with a registered dietitian.
- Weekly for the first month
- Bi-weekly during months 2-6
- Monthly during months 7-12
Who is the program for?
The program is for individuals with a BMI of 30 or greater. Examples would include 5'5" and 180 pounds or 5'9" and 205 pounds.
How can our program help you?
Our New Focus program help make positive lifestyle changes. While these changes help you lose weight, they can also increase your activity and energy, reduce stress, increase confidence, enhance sleep and reduce the risk of developing chronic diseases.
How can you start?
Consult with your primary care provider and ask them for a referral to our program. The program is covered by most insurances. Check with your insurance plan for coverage.
