Laboratory

Laboratory and pathology services are conveniently located at CMH. We offer tests including: complete blood counts, blood chemistry profiles, cholesterol panels, coagulation studies, cardiac markers, pregnancy testing, urinalysis and more.

Fast and Efficient

At the CMH laboratory, we take pride in offering fast and efficient services that provide your doctor with reliable data to diagnose or monitor your health. In addition, you can take full advantage of our Walk-in Wellness program per your physician's guidance.

Appointments are not necessary. Your doctor may send you a paper order to bring with you when you register, or you might already have an order in EPIC, an electronic health record system used by several providers nationwide. Once you're registered, you will be seen by one of our experienced team members in the lab. The wait time is generally less than 10 minutes.

Most of the laboratory tests are performed in-house. Thanks to our partnership with Allen Hospital in Waterloo, Quest Diagnostics and Mayo Clinic, any test not performed in-house will be sent to reference laboratories through our daily courier system.

Come in through the Main Hospital Entrance (north side of hospital) and stop at the greeter desk when you arrive for lab testing. Please bring a photo identification and your current health insurance card.
