CMH offering AHA CPR Classes for the Community

Community Memorial Hospital will offer three American Heart Association CPR classes for the community on Wednesday October 19, at 5 p.m.

• BLS for the Medical Professional – This is for healthcare professionals and other personnel who must know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings.
• Heartsaver CPR with First Aid – This is for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), other requirements or those who want to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.
• Heartsaver Pediatric CPR with First Aid – This is for anyone involved in childcare who has a duty to respond to illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. If you work in childcare or serve as a teacher or camp counselor, this course is for you.

Each class will contain online and in-person coursework. 

The registration fee is $50 per class with pre-registration and payment required by September 30. Stop by CMH to pick up a registration form or print one here.
