CMH Auxiliary Presents Scholarship to Cally Mueller

The CMH Auxiliary is proud to announce Cally Mueller of Northeast Iowa Community College as this year’s recipient of the CMH Auxiliary Scholarship. Mueller was awarded a $500 scholarship to put toward her fall tuition for the 2023-2024 school year.

The CMH Auxiliary awards one $500 scholarship each year to a college student enrolled in a health-related program. The scholarship committee reviews all applications for specific qualifications and they must meet one or more of the following criteria: a resident in the Sumner area, an employee or dependent of a CMH employee, or a patron of CMH. 

Workforce changes and mounting needs to provide care for an aging population have contributed to a shortage in the healthcare field. The generosity of the CMH Auxiliary is one way to strengthen the healthcare workforce in communities that CMH serves and creates added value to pursuing a career in health care.
